Briefings

Brief delivery and review tool for tech, pharmaceutical, and adtech teams

TypeScript Private

Overview

Briefings delivers project briefs to clients as private, token-protected storyboards and collects their feedback in one place. Teams lay out each brief visually, publish it to a client link, and see exactly how it was read.

It grew out of the client vault in StyleVault and runs as a fully separate app with its own database, so client material never mixes with other KervinApps data.

Key Features

Storyboard editor

Drag-and-drop rows and cells in Band or Justified layouts, with chapter titles, caption modes and a background colour per row. Images and video are uploaded straight into the project and resized automatically.

Private client links

Each project publishes to its own link, with an optional passphrase, an expiry date, and switches for which tabs clients can see and whether they can comment.

Comments on the work itself

Clients open a comment thread on any cell of the storyboard, and the team replies from the admin side. Comment counts show where the conversation is happening.

Brief review

A review tab gathers images into a grid with a comment thread on each one, for rounds of sign-off.

Engagement analytics

An activity dashboard per project shows views, unique sessions, devices and browsers, views by day, scroll depth and which tabs were opened.

Security built in

Signed admin sessions, passphrases stored as one-way hashes, link-scoped client cookies, and a database fully isolated from other apps.
