Personal meal, water and medication tracker with a shareable analytics view
Meal Tracker is a single-user daily log for meals, water, drinks, medications, blood pressure and workouts. It started inside MyDay and was split out into its own app so it could grow its own nutrition engine, meal planning and reporting.
Foods are logged with a tap, nutrition is added up as the day goes, and eight daily goals fill in on the home screen. A separate admin view turns the history into charts that can be shared with a doctor.
Each meal has a grid of food tiles. Tapping a tile cycles through portion sizes, from half a serving up to four, and nutrition scales with it. Search and quick-add find anything not already on the grid.
New foods are looked up in the USDA database as soon as they're added. Every food carries full macros, including saturated fat, and is rated automatically so the grid shows at a glance which choices fit the plan.
Eight goals (protein, fiber, calories and more) sit on the home screen with a ring that fills one slice per goal, and confetti when one is reached. Targets step up on a set schedule rather than with how much was eaten.
Tap-to-tally cards for water and drinks, and simple taken or not-taken cards for each medication that only appear on the days they're due.
A recipe library with one- or two-serving amounts, a weekly plan you fill by meal, and a grocery list added up and grouped from the week's cooking. The whole week, starting with the grocery list, can be emailed in one tap.
Tap the date to jump to any day in a month calendar. Coach-style summary emails recap how the day and week went.
An admin area charts trends across meals, goals and check-ins, built so the history can be reviewed with a doctor.
